Here is some tech information on how to put a You tube clip into your powerpoint.
You will need to download the You Tube movie on to your computer. The easiest way to do this is to insert 'kick" immediately in front of youtube. E.g. if the url begins like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BULUq...., then after you insert 'kick' it will now look like this http://www.kickyoutube.com/watch?v=BULUq..... Once you've done this, press return/enter and you will be asked for format options. For a Mac, select mp4, for a PC select .avi.
Once you've saved the file on your computer, then there is a separate process for inserting it into your Powerpoint - search Help files.
As far photos go, once you've logged in, click on My Account at the very top of the screen. There you will find an option to insert your photo. If ti doesn't work, that is possibly because the file is too big (1MB maximum).
